Palliative care (pronounced: pal-lee-uh-tiv) is the medical specialty focused on relief of the pain, stress and other debilitating symptoms of serious illness.

Palliative Care Options

10 bed Inpatient unit

  • Acute symptom management such as uncontrolled pain;
  • Support during palliative radiation or chemotherapy 

Outpatient Clinic

  • Pain and symptom management;
  • Emotional and spiritual support;
  • Practical guidance;
  • Bereavement counseling;
  • Outpatient consultation services

Inpatient consultation

  • Pain and symptom management;
  • Guidance with treatment options;
  • Complex medical decisions;
  • Psychosocial and spiritual support
