Minority Veterans Program
The Minority Veterans Program (MVP) was established under Public Law 103-446 in 1994 to address the unique circumstances and special needs of minority veterans. Your Minority Veterans Program Coordinator (MVPC) is Sandy Rolland, (317) 988-4140.
Veterans the MVPC serves:
African Americans;
Asian Americans;
Hispanic Americans;
Native Americans, including American Indians and Alaskan Natives;
Native Hawaiians;
Pacific Island Americans
Individual consultation
The MVPC meets one-on-one with Veterans and their families. We will determine your needs and help you with your benefits.
Community outreach activities
We work closely with various organizations throughout the community. We visit minority communities, meet with service organizations, and network to explain the various programs and service available to you. We participate in stand downs, community town hall meetings, conferences and other forms of community outreach.
