Caregiver Support
We recognize caregivers provide a valuable service for Veterans and are "partners" with the VA in providing excellent health care. Your support often allows your Veteran to remain in their own home, and we recognize your role in supporting your hospitalized Veteran or those who live at home.

Decendent Affairs
We are your advocate to ensure fairness, equity and appropriateness of all survivor benefits and to serve as the liaison for inter and intra-agency collaboration and coordination on survivor issues. Extended Care and Rehabilitation

Crisis Prevention
The Roudebush VA Medical Center in Indianapolis, Indiana, has a dedicated Suicide Prevention Program based on promoting public health strategies to prevent suicide. The Suicide Prevention Coordinator and a team of Suicide Prevention Case Managers provide enhanced case management and clinical support to Veterans who are struggling with suicidal behavior. Military Sexual Trauma (MST)
Military Sexual Trauma (MST) is the term used by VA to refer to sexual assault or sexual harassment that occurred during a Veteran’s military service. MST can occur on or off base and while a Veteran is on or off duty, perpetrators might be anyone - men or women, military personnel or civilians, commanding officers or subordinates, strangers, friends, or intimate partners and Veterans from all eras of service have reported experiencing MST.

Returning Servicemembers (OEF/OIF/OND)
Our Returning Service Members program (Seamless Transition) includes care coordination and support services, specifically for those of you who have served in combat, or combat support operations, during a period of war after the Gulf War, or against a hostile force after November 11, 1998. This program supports you as you're transitioning from active duty military to civilian life. We help you receive the health care services you may want or need, and we provide you and your family with the following support and service options.

Veterans House
The Veterans House, located on our Cold Spring Road Campus, offers a safe, comfortable and homelike environment for Veterans receiving extended outpatient medical care and their family members. Visual Impairment
The Indianapolis VA Medical Center VIST Program helps legally blind and severely visually impaired Veterans and their families adjust to vision loss.
Women's Health
